Jordan on the Issues
Homeowner Tax Relief
Since 2009, Texas law has allowed counties to grant homeowners up to a 20% local homestead exemption — but Brazos County has never taken advantage of it. Jordan believes it’s time to change that. By adopting the homestead exemption, we can deliver real property tax relief to homeowners, helping families stay in their homes as values rise. Jordan will fight to make Brazos County work for the taxpayers, not against them.
Supporting Law Enforcement & First Responders
The safety of our families and neighborhoods depends on strong law enforcement and emergency services. Jordan will ensure our Sheriff’s Office, Constables, and first responders have the resources, training, and equipment they need to keep Brazos County safe.
Responsible Use of Tax Dollars
As a business owner and former banking executive, Jordan knows how to balance budgets and cut waste. He will make sure county tax dollars are spent wisely, with transparency and accountability, so families can keep more of what they earn.
Supporting Local Business & Growth
Small businesses are the backbone of Brazos County. Jordan will work to make county government a partner in growth: cutting red tape, supporting entrepreneurship, and ensuring policies that strengthen our local economy.
Preserving Brazos County Values
Jordan believes in protecting the character and traditions that make Brazos County special. From supporting local agriculture to ensuring our communities remain family-friendly, he will always stand for the values that have guided this county for generations.
